welcome
No one ever followed his genius til it misled him. Though the result were bodily weakness, yet perhaps no one can say
that the consequences were to be regretted, for these were a life in conformity to higher principles. If the day and night are such
that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet-scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry,
more immortal,--that is your success. All nature is your congratulation, and you have cause momentarily to bless yourself. The
greatest gains and values are farthest from being appreciated. We easily come to doubt if they exist. We soon forget them.
They are the highest reality....the true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints
of morning or evening. It is a little star-dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched.
--Henry David Thoreau

There are two words to describe me: 'atheistic' and 'cynical'.
Anything else, you'll have to find out by yourself.
Don't like it, sue me.
And that's the awful truth.

Well, I finally got my Converse sneakers! It's non-canvas, brown in colour and has a white star. The thing is, I have to pay $20 for it, which is a good deal since it costs $60. I actually wanted another one, but it was too expensive so my mother didn't want to buy it. Too bad! Then we went to buy some winter clothes since the only ones I have I wore when I was 5 years old. It's gonna be quite cold in Kunming, like 10 degrees, which is not too extreme, but my Converse jacket will be really useless. There is this watch I want. It's silver and golden, and the cool thing about it is that you can see the gears working. However, you're supposed to wind it up, but if you think about it, that means it will never run out of battery. I have no idea how to wind it up since it looks just like an ordinary watch. I don't think I will get it since, well, my mother never keeps her promises. I can still hope though, but since my sis has a watch, she'll have to get me one too because I'll keep bugging her about how unfair it is. It works sometimes, but not all the time. Alright, I've finally finished one of my four book reviews, and now I'm basically waiting for all the other books to be returned since they are ALL on loan. I reserved all the other books, but it'll take a while until I get them. Well, I have all the time in the world...right?
