welcome
No one ever followed his genius til it misled him. Though the result were bodily weakness, yet perhaps no one can say
that the consequences were to be regretted, for these were a life in conformity to higher principles. If the day and night are such
that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet-scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry,
more immortal,--that is your success. All nature is your congratulation, and you have cause momentarily to bless yourself. The
greatest gains and values are farthest from being appreciated. We easily come to doubt if they exist. We soon forget them.
They are the highest reality....the true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints
of morning or evening. It is a little star-dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched.
--Henry David Thoreau

There are two words to describe me: 'atheistic' and 'cynical'.
Anything else, you'll have to find out by yourself.
Don't like it, sue me.
And that's the awful truth.

I've got a bit of sad news to share: my fraternal grandfather died, though I'm not exactly sure when, but really recently. I never really knew the man, and I talked to my grandma more. He's really old, and reminds me of Sauron from Lord of the Rings...no seriously. My father's going back to China to settle the funeral and stuff like that. My grandparents are really poor, this I know as their house is the size of my Living room and the mattresses are just a few layers of blankets. They used to rear rabbits, but I don't know what happened to them now. The rabbits were really stinky, but the little ones were cute. They live in this shabby neighbourhood that's extremely dirty. My mom says that my grandmother doted on me, which amazingly, I never knew. You figure she'll would have told me these things sooner, like how Cyn stole my blood. I think I'm going to China for the holidays... Whoopdedo... My cousins are so gay and they play counterstrike, which makes them even gayer. They never heard of Neopets, much less Warcraft or Diablo II, and one of them plays the piano, and they like it! Dude, ever heard of the saxophone or the Brass and Wind family? They really should learn how to play the drums so they can become more sociable. I wonder what kind of music they listen to... does China have they own Jay Chou or are all their singers like that weird old gay guy that sings to the sky about birds in a tree (shu sang de xiao niao...). I gotta introduce them to Jazz, even if they can't understand the lyrics, the rhythm is the best part. I wonder if they'll like Frank Sinatra? So, if I go to China, I've got a mission to complete: make my cousins appear less gay and Jazz-ify them. Seriously, they are like 14 and 12 years old and they still play counterstrike. Too bad they've got the longest school hours in the world (seriously) but that can't be the excuse for everything. Maybe it's just because Chinese movies are all about palace life, police chases and martial arts so they don't know much about the world. This is why I love Singapore so much more. This is also why I don't want to go. Plus I have to speak Chinese. But I can always annoy them by speaking English. Hey, I understand them but they don't understand me... lol. I did that the last time I visited, they were so frustrated I couldn't stop laughing! Oh, and maybe I should bring a chim science book or the classic Emma got me for my birthday just to make my head look bigger and theirs look smaller. Lol. At least I get to eat sugarcane right off the stalk, or stem, or whatever. It's really fun: your supposed to bite it, suck it and chew on it to get the juice out, then spit it out. OMG, THAT WAS SO SICK...INNUENDO...TOTALLY...OH GOD!
