welcome
No one ever followed his genius til it misled him. Though the result were bodily weakness, yet perhaps no one can say
that the consequences were to be regretted, for these were a life in conformity to higher principles. If the day and night are such
that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet-scented herbs, is more elastic, more starry,
more immortal,--that is your success. All nature is your congratulation, and you have cause momentarily to bless yourself. The
greatest gains and values are farthest from being appreciated. We easily come to doubt if they exist. We soon forget them.
They are the highest reality....the true harvest of my daily life is somewhat as intangible and indescribable as the tints
of morning or evening. It is a little star-dust caught, a segment of the rainbow which I have clutched.
--Henry David Thoreau

There are two words to describe me: 'atheistic' and 'cynical'.
Anything else, you'll have to find out by yourself.
Don't like it, sue me.
And that's the awful truth.

There's gonna be a new Nicholas Sparks movie! 'Nights in Rodanthe', his most tragic and poignant book ever.
The trailer is here... http://www.nicholassparks.com/NiR_MovieTrailer.htm
I just watched it, it stars Richard Gere and Diane Lane, and also James Franco, and it seems so good that I can't wait! The bad thing is, its close to the exams, so I probably won't be able to watch it. Gah! I hope they changed the ending a little bit though, because it's just way to sad. Two people meet and fall in love, and are together for only a weekend, but it was enough for them to want to spend the rest of their lives together. However, she waits for him for years before she realizes that he won't be coming back.
Oh, and apparently, he's got a new novel coming up, 'The Lucky One', and the anticipation is killing me. Once it comes out, I'm gonna grab it off the shelf and put it on my own shelf. I'll probably read it finish in a day or two, without ever putting it down.
Argh, I cant wait man!

Long time no post man. Okay, let's see. Sarawak trip was pretty good, though my sis is really pissed off about me getting orange paint on her white pants. I loved the boat rides, they were awesome, especially the one to Bako National Park. The waves were so fun, and I suspect the guy went one big round to the part of the sea that was really choppy just for us. We were screaming so loudly every time the boat bounced, so sometimes the water flew into our mouths. Unfortunately, I got really sick because of the weather and perhaps the air-cons in the hotel. Some sort of asthma thing, though I don't think my family has a history of asthma. My mother insists that my aunt had the same problem, but I don't quite believe her. It lasted about two whole weeks, I had to see the doctor three times before he gave me the right medicine. By then my airway was so constricted I had tons of phlegm suck in my throat, and every time i tried to cough it out, I ended up vomiting out my lunch. Just the other day, as I was coughing yet again, I started to barf, only this time, it was like a whole lot of vomit and it came bursting out of my mouth. I ended up spraying my leg and a little bit of the cushion before it went into the dustbin. The nasty thing was, it tasted like chocolate and apple juice, mixed with phlegm of course, which i had spit out into the sink. Then I started watching it as it slowly went down the drain. Disgusting. Speech training is extremely tiring. It's all about the abs. My stomach aches after each lesson, though I must say, it really helps, the training I mean. 'Ricky' didn't go for a single session, thank goodness. Wonder what sort of lie she'd come up with, man. The exercises the instructor taught us we a little weird, like lying on your back and making a loud 'ah' sound for 4 counts. The breathing exercises were so very long and kinda boring, just breathe in and out for 2 counts each, then 4, then 6, then 8, then 6, then 4, then 2, after that, breathe in for 2 counts, and hiss out for 4. We're supposed to feel our stomach rising and falling according to our breathes. This is to help us project our voices, which is harder than it seems. You really have to use your ab (how do you spell it?) muscles to force out the air, and you have to protect you neck at all costs, so you can't move it at all. Also, your spine has to be as straight as possible, and you always, always have to remember to anchor yourself. It's a lot to keep in mind. In addition, we're supposed to continue doing the exercises she taught us, though I doubt I would be so dedicated. Then we have to practice reading the script and we have to find out how to pronounce every single name in the list, which is really long. Oh, and I have to learn to drop my accent as far as possible so I sound neutral. Wow. Wish me luck, man.
